WILD

WILD is the fourth EP by Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan, released on 4 September 2015. It is Sivan’s second EP released through a major record label after TRXYE; half of its tracks would appear on Sivan’s debut album Blue Neighbourhood and the other half would appear on its deluxe edition.

As an openly gay artist, Sivan knows the struggles some of his listeners encounter when coming out. Blue Neighbourhood follows his thoughts, feelings, and experiences as someone who is trying to come to terms with who he is and who he loves. Sivan told Billboard:
These songs are about love, and I love boys… I don’t want to discount what anyone in the LGBTQ movement has been through… But for me, owning up to who I am has made [my sexuality] a nonissue."

After his critically-acclaimed debut, Blue Neighbourhood, in December 2015, which spanned hit singles such as “WILD” & “YOUTH”, Troye Sivan returned to the music industry after three years, releasing his second studio release, Bloom, on August 31, 2018. The album channels red hues that contrast the blue motifs in his previous work.

In A Dream serves as the follow-up to Troye Sivan’s sophomore album, Bloom, released in August 2018. The project was initially described by Sivan as “not an album, but probably bigger than an EP.” However, with the release of the pre-order it was confirmed to be an EP.
